1) YOU BECAME A CHILD OF GOD.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12

2) YOUR SINS WERE FORGIVEN.
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever beleiveth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43

3) YOU PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and beleiveth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come unto condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24

4) YOU RECEIVED ETERNAL LIFE AS A GIFT.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

5) YOU ARE NO LONGER CONDEMNED.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but rather after the Spirit." Romans 8:1

 

Eternal life is a gift received from God by faith. You cannot buy it, you cannot earn it, neither can you work to keep it. It is all by grace.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
However, there are certain things God expects from you now.

1) YOU SHOULD BE SCRIPTURALLY BAPTIZED.
"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." Acts 2:41
"And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord." Acts 10:48
"Many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized." Acts 18:8

2) YOU SHOULD ATTEND AN INDEPENDENT FUNDAMENTAL BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH REGULARLY.
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers." acts 2:42
"Not foresaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25

3) YOU SHOULD READ THE BIBLE DAILY (King James Version).
"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." I Peter 2:2
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom." Colossians 3:16
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15

4) YOU SHOULD PRAY DAILY.
"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice." Psalms 55:17
"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26"41
"Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thankgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6

5) YOU SHOULD CONFESS YOUR SINS TO THE LORD JESUS, DAILY.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" I Timothy 2:5
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9

6) YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR HEART AND THOUGHTS CLEAN.
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord..." Psalms 19:14a

7) YOU SHOULD TRUST THE LORD WITH YOUR FINANCES.
"And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD." Leviticus 27:30
"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings." Malachi 3:8

8) YOU SHOULD TELL OTHERS ABOUT CHRIST.
"Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8

9) YOU SHOULD WORK FOR THE LORD.
"Therefor, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." I Corinthians 15:58

10) YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR THE RETURN OF THE LORD
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I Thessalonians 4:16-17
